Online booking for WordPress and any other website
Add a “Book now” button or a full booking calendar to your site with one line of code. No plugin to install and no developer needed. Clients pick a service, a specialist and a free slot, and the booking lands straight in your calendar.
Press “Book now”. The real widget of a Mylink demo business opens, exactly as it will look on your website.
Three ways to add online booking to your website
All three lead to the same calendar, so you can combine them. Pick the one your site allows and the place where you want the button to be.
Floating button
A “Book now” button sits in the corner of every page and opens the calendar on top of your site. Clients book without leaving it. The best fit for most businesses.
For WordPress, Wix, Shopify, Squarespace, Webflow and any site where you can add code.
Put the address of your booking page behind a button, in the menu or in your text. The “Booking links” tab also gives you a link to a specific service, group class or package.
For free wordpress.com sites, Instagram, Facebook, your Google profile and QR codes.

How to add online booking to WordPress
Five steps and not a single booking plugin. Pasting the code itself takes about five minutes.
1
Create a profile and add your services
Sign your business up on Mylink and enter your services with prices and durations, your opening hours and your team. If you used another system before, we move your data over for free.
2
Set up the widget and copy the code
In Mylink open Settings → Website widget. Choose the position (“Bottom right”, “Bottom left” or “Embedded”), the colour, the button text and what to show: services, group classes, packages, products. Then copy the ready-made code.
3
Paste the code into WordPress
Where it goes depends on what you want clients to see:
A floating button on every page.In a block theme open Appearance → Editor, go to the footer template part and add a “Custom HTML” block. In a classic theme add a “Custom HTML” widget to the footer under Appearance → Widgets, or paste the code into the footer field of a plugin such as WPCode.
A calendar on one page.Open the page, for example “Book now”, add a “Custom HTML” block and paste the code. In the classic editor paste it in the “Text” tab, not in “Visual”.
4
Publish and clear the cache
Press “Publish” or “Update”. If you use a caching plugin such as WP Rocket, LiteSpeed Cache or W3 Total Cache, or Cloudflare, clear the cache so your visitors see the change too.
5
Check with a test booking
Open your site on your phone, press “Book now” and book a slot. The booking appears in your Mylink calendar straight away, and the client gets a confirmation.

Calendar in a pageInsert → Embed → Embed code.
The floating button script goes at the end of <body>, not in <head>. In <head> the page has not loaded yet, so the button has nowhere to appear.
A widget or a WordPress booking plugin
A booking plugin lives inside your website. The Mylink widget only shows the calendar, and everything else runs separately.

A plugin is part of the site: every WordPress, theme or PHP update can break it, and bookings are stored in the same database as your pages. The Mylink widget is a separate system. If you change the theme, the hosting or the whole site, you paste the same code again, and your schedule, clients and their history stay intact.
What you get besides the button
The widget is just the entrance. Behind it is the whole Mylink booking system.
Your class schedule and visit passes show in the same widget (Pro plan).

The button does not show up? Here is why
The cause is almost always a site setting, not the code. These are the most common cases.
The code shows up as text
It was pasted into a regular “Paragraph” block or in visual mode. Move it to a “Custom HTML” block or the “Text” tab.
The change is not visible
The site is serving a cached version. Clear the cache of your caching plugin, your hosting and Cloudflare, if you use it.
The button appears only after a scroll or a click
Your caching plugin delays scripts (Delay JavaScript execution in WP Rocket, delayed JavaScript in LiteSpeed Cache). Add widget.js to its exclusions.
The code disappears after saving
Your WordPress account is not allowed to add scripts, for example with the “Author” role or on a multisite network. Ask the administrator to add it, or use a button with a link.
wordpress.com does not keep the code
Plans without plugins strip scripts and iframes. Use a button with a link to your booking page.
A 404 error shows instead of the calendar
Allowed domains are set in Mylink and yours is not among them, or the widget is turned off. Enter just the domain, such as salon.bg, without https:// (www and other subdomains are included automatically), or clear the field. Leave it empty too if your site sends Referrer-Policy: no-referrer, and for a calendar embedded in Wix (Embed HTML) or Google Sites, because they load it from their own domain.
The button hides behind the chat
Two floating buttons in the same corner overlap. Move the widget to the bottom left corner in its settings.
The calendar waits for cookie consent
Your cookie plugin blocks outside frames. Add mylink.bg to its allowed services or exclusions.
How much online booking for your website costs
The website widget is included in every plan. The first 45 days are free, with no commission per booking and no contract.
No. Mylink is not a plugin but a widget with one line of code. You paste it into a “Custom HTML” block or the theme footer and it works. There is nothing to update, it puts no load on your hosting, and bookings and clients are stored in Mylink, not in your site database.
What is the difference between a widget and a plugin?
A plugin is installed in WordPress and runs on your hosting. A widget is a short piece of code that shows an outside service on your site, in this case the Mylink calendar. That is why it works the same on WordPress, Wix, Shopify or a hand-built site.
Does it work with Elementor, Divi and other page builders?
Yes. Every page builder has an element for HTML code: “HTML” in Elementor, “Code” in Divi, “Raw HTML” in WPBakery. You paste the same code into it. For a floating button on every page, add it to the site footer.
Can I add online booking to a free wordpress.com site?
wordpress.com plans without plugins do not allow scripts or iframes. There, add a button or a link to your Mylink booking page. Clients book in the same calendar, just on a separate page.
Will the widget slow down my site?
Your hosting and database feel nothing: the calendar comes from Mylink servers in a separate frame (iframe), and the script itself is a few kilobytes. The frame does load together with the page, though. If you track every PageSpeed point, put the floating button only where clients book, or use a button with a link, which loads nothing extra.
Can the widget match my site colours?
Yes. You choose the main colour, the button text and which bottom corner it sits in. You can hide service descriptions or whole sections: group classes, packages, products.
Can a button on my site go straight to one service?
Yes. The “Booking links” tab in settings has a separate link for every service, group class and package. Clients open your page with that service already selected, which suits the buttons on individual treatment pages.
Do clients have to create an account?
Not necessarily. If you allow guest bookings, clients leave only a name, phone and email. Otherwise they sign in with a Mylink profile where they see and manage their bookings.
How much does online booking for my website cost?
The widget is included in every Mylink plan. The Start plan is €15 a month incl. VAT, and the first 45 days are free. There is no commission per booking and no contract.
What happens to my bookings if I change my site or theme?
Nothing. Bookings, clients and their history are stored in Mylink. After the change you paste the same code into the new site and everything carries on from where it was.
Can I ask for a deposit when clients book through my site?
Yes. You connect a Stripe account and choose who pays a deposit: every client, only new clients, or everyone except VIP clients. The amount can be fixed or a percentage of the service price.
Can I limit which websites show my calendar?
Yes. In the “Allowed domains” field you list the domains, such as salon.bg, where the widget may be embedded. Subdomains such as www are included automatically. On every other site the calendar will not load.
