Anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, life changes or wanting to understand yourself better — talking to a psychologist can help. On Mylink you find psychologists and therapists, learn about their approach and book a first session online or in person.
If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call 112 immediately.
A psychologist provides counselling and psychological assessment. A psychotherapist has additional training in a specific therapeutic method and works over a longer process. A psychiatrist is a medical doctor who can diagnose and prescribe medication.
The first session is about getting to know each other — you share what brings you and what you want to change, and the specialist explains how they work. It is normal to try more than one specialist until you find someone you feel comfortable with.
